Earmarking Donations
If you wish to support a particular project, then you can earmark you donation. This means that the money will be ring-fenced and only used for that purpose.
If a donation is not earmarked, then it will be used for our general purposes, that is, the Trust will use the donation for all of its activities. It allows the trustees to use funds where the need is most urgent, in accordance with the stated objectives of the Trust.
You can choose to support the following specific projects:
- Bursaries: the Trust will only use the donation to fund bursaries for the purpose of reducing the fees for people training to be teachers of the Alexander Technique. If making a bank transfer please use “BUR” as message to ensure the money is ring-fenced for this purpose.
- Archives: the Trust will only use the donation for acquisition and maintenance of its archives on the Alexander Technique. If making a bank transfer please use “ARC” as message to ensure the money is ring-fenced for this purpose.
- Parkinson’s project: supporting the teaching of the Alexander Technique to people with Parkinson’s. If making a bank transfer please use “PAR” as message to ensure the money is ring-fenced for this purpose.
