Teacher Training Course

The Constructive Teaching Centre runs a teachers’ training course in the Alexander Technique. It is a full-time, three-year course providing over 1,600 hours of training. The course follows the usual academic pattern of three terms per year.

The course provides a teacher-student ration of 1:3 and students receive individual tuition as part of the course.

The course is recognised by the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique, (STAT). On satisfactory completion of their training, students receive a certificate of graduation from the Constructive Teaching Centre and become eligible for admission to STAT as teaching members.
